If you mean the requirements to unlock it, it means get each of the equipment drops from the first titan at least once. If it is about the challenge itself, it disables all of the bonuses from equipment for the duration of the challenge, including adventure stats so you will need bonuses from other sources to compensate.Answering my own question here as looking at what boss you need to unlock Automations, it would probably take a couple lifetimes to complete that challenge without them. #1.
