The fan has been installed and working for about 4 years without any problems. The remote does not operate the fan or the light. There is power to the fan. I have tried the reset option for the remote but still nothing happens.SET key – For learn. 5.Start the fan : Press the selected speed button to run the fan at the desired . 6.Turn off the fan : Press the OFF button . 7.Light control : Turn the light on or off by only touching the LIGHT CONTROL button . Keep pressing the button in excess of 0.7 second it becomes a dimmer ,On the remote, press and hold the fan OFF button for 5+ seconds. This forces a hard reset for the fan control while leaving the light control intact. Check the wiring connections from the receiver to the fan motor itself. The problem is likely with the fan wiring rather than the light wiring..
