Thr boost has nothing to do with the intake heater. The other sensor is the coolant temp sensor. It is located in the top of the block on the drivers side. It ia a 2 wire sensor as well.We have had numerous inake heater relays fail on 3116/3126 engines. The C7 engines use a heavier relay. The earlier relays are to small to carry the 90+ amp load. On the 3116/3126 engines we have been using the Blue Bird relay that is used for the body heater/light functions. It does require replacing the terminal ends with something much heavier.The grid heaters on our Vision's here will continue to cycle causing the volt gauge to drop, the STOP light and TOO LOW with pic of battery, until the engine oil temp and the engine water temp reach 120 degrees cumulatively.
